The NIFL Premiership outright winner betting markets are now open, and it will always be important for punters to spend a lot of time looking at just what odds they are going to be able to secure if they do fancy and rate the chances of any team winning that league this upcoming season.
What I shall therefore be doing in today's betting news story, is looking at the teams that are currently attracting the most support on those futures betting markets, and there is of course a reason that punters are backing those teams.
Linfield at 7/4 are one team that has been attracting plenty of support from punters, however those odds may drop and drop quite significantly if once the season starts Linfield goes on to win match after match, so I would consider backing them sooner rather than later to guarantee you can secure those odds on them winning.
Crusaders at 5/2 are the next team that has been attracting plenty of support two, and if they do start to win a few matches at the start of the season then you can bet your bottom dollar that those odds will start to drop, and they may become the favourite to win the league title too.
Mid-Priced Teams
I wouldn't say that the two favourites to win listed up above are guaranteed to come out on top and win the title race this season, and if you are much more of the mindset that it will be another team that wins the title then consider backing teams such as Ballymena at 7/1 or possibly Glenavon at 8/1
A couple of other teams that you could fancy backing include Cliftonville at 10/1 and Larne at 12/1, but I think is very fair to say they are going to need plenty of luck this season if they are to worry any of the teams listed higher up on the betting markets.
Teams You Should Avoid Backing
It does look like teams such as Coleraine at 20/1 and Glentoran at 25/1 are going to have an uphill task this season, and I doubt that they are going to be winning many matches through the season.
There are however a few other teams that are available at massive odds to win the title race this season, and one such team is the Dungannon Swifts who I’m sure some people but much more likely their supporters are going to be backing at odds of 150/1.
Then you have the likes of Warrenpoint Town at 200/1 who surely cannot possibly win this year and the same also goes for the final two teams playing in the NIFL Premiership this season and they are Carrick Rangers and Institute and there are plenty of bookies who are laying odds as high as 250/1 on both of those two teams.
