I think it's about time that I turned my attention over to the upcoming Royal Ascot race meeting, for there are plenty of horses that I am sure you will be interested in backing when that race meeting gets underway later this month of Thursday the 18th of January.
The first race that will mark the start of that race meeting is the 2:30 Royal Ascot race, that is lovingly known as the Queen Anne Stakes and as for the way the early betting has been going on that race, there are two horses' punters are backing.
Those horses include the current 4/1 favourite that is Le Brivido who has been backed down from win odds of 11/2 in the last few days, so it does have plenty of support. The second favourite is the one-time favourite to win the Queen Anne Stakes and that is Mustashry who is a 9/2 shot.
Backing Queen Anne Stakes Runners Each-Way
One fifth of the win odds paid to three places are the standard each-way betting terms you will find on offer on this race at most bookies' sites, and therefore you may fancy backing one of the other horses each-way.
If you do there are four horses that could be worth backing each-way so I will leave it to you to work out which ones looks most likely to get placed, suffice to say though those horses include Barney Roy and Laurens currently an each-way steal at odds of 7/1, Zabeel Prince at 8/1 and also Accidental Agent at 10/1.
The Outsiders to Win
The rest of the field of runners in the Queen Anne Stakes 2026 are going to have to improve on their current form shown, if they are going to trouble any of the runners listed up above, and to be fair in a race of this nature an outsider may just get its head up in front.
With that in mind allow me to now quickly rattle through the odds that are available on each of the other horses, but keep in mind that the each-way betting terms if you do fancy backing any of them each-way are going to vary from bookie to bookie on this race, so find one offering you the very best terms.
Three horses are currently available on most ante post betting markets at odds of 16/1 and they are for reference Hazapour, Hey Gaman and Lord Glitters, and the odds then jump to 25/1 on the likes of Beat the Bank, I Can Fly, Olmedo, One Master and Sharja Bridge.
You can back Dream Castle, Magical, Matterhorn and Mythical Magic at 25/1 and the three 33/1 shots currently are Imaging, Romanised and Stormy Antarctic, and finally you have the likes of Chief Ironside on offer at odds of at the very least 50/1, Oh This Is Us is very easy to back at odds of 66/1 and so is Advance Yulong who is a huge 80/1 to win this race.
